Quick 2025 hybrid awd observation

Picked up my 2025 awd xlt hybrid last week. When it left the dealer it has just ~25 miles on it. The first week of driving i averaged 25 mpg around town, much less then expected (that was about the first 75 miles or so) . Now I just hit 175 miles on the odometer, and I'm averaging 40 mpg. Have yet to have it on the highway, and all my trips have been under 6 miles round trip . I think I'm getting better using the EV coach as assistance. My daily trips will be under 6 miles round trip each day, and I still plan on using my old beater a few times a week. I still only drive about 5k miles a year, so hoping for the best with this maverick
