Pros & cons of hard roll-up with rubber gaskets?

I'm looking for a hard roll-up tonneau cover. Saw an ad for this one which doesn't have a vinyl / fabric cover like most of them do - the seller says there are rubber gaskets between the slats to keep out water and dirt and snow etc.

I haven't seen anyone review this kind of cover here so I'm curious if they're any good?
