Production notifications?

I’m a newbie here (just a few days). I’ve browsed most of the forums and have yet to notice where someone says “Got my VIN today! Scheduled for xx/xx/2023 ! (description of their order). Am I missing them ?

I got my vin # back in late March for a 5/15 build week. That is coming up soon, but has not changed on the Ford Vehicle tracking web site (https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking)
but you have to have a Vin# to track it. Also the tracking web site is not very reliable most of the time. You can also call for customer service and check your status 1-800-334-4375.

Thanks for the info. I really don’t expect anything until I get a VIN, I am just a little surprised there aren’t more celebratory posts. What did you order and when did you order (if you don’t mind me asking)? I ordered my XL 9/17/22. Only options were a hitch and a full size spare. Neither of those options were bothered by the supply chain, at that time. I hear they are now.

Neither of those options were bothered by the supply chain, at that time. I hear they are now.

yes, they are constraints now. Look below and you will see when I ordered and what I ordered.
I dropped all wanted options just to have a clean build. I really wanted the trailer hitch for $100. but that was preventing me from getting scheduled. I really wanted a hybrid, but I figured that if I want a Maverick this year, I decided to switch my XL order to AWD EB and I got scheduled fairly soon.

Yeah my XL is hybrid. I don’t “need” a new truck. My 2011 Ranger 4x4 only has 92K miles. I knew I’d probably have to wait a year when I ordered. But I hate the thought of maybe having to reorder in July if Ford is not doing order carryovers to the 24MY. But I guess, if I want a Maverick, I’ll have to play the game by their rules.

I keep a close eye on the forum daily since I am retired. Gives me something to do. I have not kept up with numbers, but see more posts of people receiving Lariat hybrids that XL or even XLT hybrids. For some reason, Ford seems to build the higher end ones first, unless it is a bunch of Fleet orders. Hang in there, you might get surprised tomorrow.

There are a lot of posts, but they are usually all contained in the thread for the scheduling week, usually titled "X/XX/XXXX Scheduling Email Received Group (Emails now arriving)". Usually there has been one big scheduling week per month and the other weeks are disappointing. There were a lot scheduled in January, February and March. Less in April and not much yet this month.
