After the dealership put a whole bunch of holes into it for the fire recall, I went ahead and added some more holes to access the filter. BOOM done, never have to drop it again.

Well I would much rather have a TOP engine cover, plastic and reasonably priced.
You all know the Ford one people are craving, me as well.

I have a 2020 Ford Edge with a 2.0 Ecoboost that I found a, if memory serves, "splash guard" with a removable spot for the plug, filter and another spot. I've also recently purchased a new 2024 Ford Maverick Lariat with a 2.0 Ecoboost, I'm checking to see if it can be used on the Maverick.
