Problem scanning Ford Maverick XLT Hybrid 2022

Please need some insight and help with scanning my ford maverick have tried two scanners keep getting lost communication just dont know if the scanners are not able to connect to the ecu, may be soemoen has had that experience thanks in advance .

You did not say what scanner you are using. I did hear Ford is using a new protocol in 2025s.

CAN 2.0 High 2000's
8 byte packets
40 kbps to 1 Mbps

CAN FD (Flexible Data) 2010's
8 byte packets or 64 byte packets
Up to 8 Mbps

CAN XL 2020's
2,048 byte packets
Up to 20 Mbps

2025's may have the latest CAN protocol but the scanner does not.
