Just acquired a 2.3l Corsair turbo and looking to get into fuel kits. Should I go the port intake route, do the HFPP or both?

Not in a rush to install but want to do it right.

Are you leaving the corsair turbo as is?

So take this for what it’s worth. I’m a random guy on the internet. But I’ve built a bunch of high hp ecoboost across platforms. The one that was the challenge is a 528awhp focus rs.

Now for me the answer is very simple. I did a Livernois hpfp and injectors. Many reason for this but mainly because all you fueling safety measure stay in place.
Second I would do water meth before I did a rail injection. It accomplished everything a rail does but better. More octane and cooler iat.
The same guys that scream meth injection can fail rely on the same setup to power the rail.
In a perfect world I run hpfp, injectors and meth injection.
But I have run both stand alone. I’ve had very good luck with adding the extra fuel with just meth injection. And I’ve also had fantastic luck with just the hpfp, and injectors .
Cheapest route is meth injection. Safest is the pump.
No wrong way to do it but the last setup I would do is a rail.
Just doesn’t make much sense to me. If the goal was e85 then I would still go back to the hpfp setup.
Hope this helps

If youre leaving the corsair turbo as is you may not need anything as far as fueling goes, depending on how far you want to push it. There is one out there that did 388hp on a stock fuel system with e50 and the crp stage 4 turbo.

I'm going with injectors and the hpfp since i want to run it on e85 full time, with a hogged out corsair turbo it will hopefully be in the 400s at the wheels and that's about as far as i want to go since there aren't any options for a better transmission right now.

Hate to be that guy but no way it’s breaking 400. I don’t even believe that 388hp unless that’s the most generous dyno. Ivan and I went back and forth about this. The Corsair turbo is not even in the same ballpark in size as the focus rs. The rs has a manual mmt6. Most are maxed out around 380whp. Thats a 2.3 with a much larger than even fast mavericks built corsair turbos. Heck the rs has a much bigger turbo than the ranger or mustang 2.3.

Just not sure how these guys are claiming that hp unless it’s not on a dyno or said dyno is a very high producer of numbers.

You're cool broski you can call me out on bullshit anytime.

That 388hp truck i'm sure was on a very happy dyno but my point is with the stage 4 turbo it wasn't running out of fuel according to the guy that tuned it.

Do you know who was doing the turbos for ivan? Goose Tuned has a customer using one of ivan's turbos and it did 375 or so but i'm not sure if that was on true e85 or a blend. Goose had it on facebook a while back if you want to go digging.

I’m not sure who did his turbos.
I do like these bigger builds. Just don’t want people to get over excited. I’ve seen a few of the fas mavericks big Turbos on the Livernois dyno and they were not near the power that was being sold as. But it really only is a measuring tool so a before and after tells the real story.

I had a feeling the turbos he was selling may not have been all that he said they were, just from seeing all the people he screwed over.

Sorry to pull up an old post but, with the hpfp and injectors is e85 an option? I can only find tunes up to e50. I would would run the Nostrum bundle in a heart beat. I have e85 all around me here in Florida.
