Mod so far:

DIY black housing headlight with zep degreaser ( took them apart)
DIY black housing tailight with zep degreaser (Filled them up and rinsed with distilled water )
Lastfit Led: brake light /reverse and front turn signal
H&R super sport lowering spring 2.2 front 3 rear
set of wheel from a Ford edge st 2022, wheels and brand new
1/4 wheels spacer for the rear because of fender liner rubbing on driver side
3d maxpider mat front and rear
Deeze tailgate assist

more mod in the futur

Don’t forget to use some ZEP to remove the XLT chrome from the fender badges

I don't think it will work , because exterior chrome is 'real' chrome plating and headlight and taillight are aluminium powder plated and degreaser can disolve alu

Reviving an old thread. Any reason you couldn’t do the same trick with the taillights for the headlights instead of disassembling?

The headlights are sealed LED's. I wouldn't try it. Probably would cause moisture problems to say the least.
