Picked up my maverick

Was able to pick up my maverick last night. 2024 carbonized grey xlt hybrid with hitch. Got the private offer and farm bureau discount and was out the door a bit over 28000.00. So far hapy but this thing make weird relay clicking sounds when shut off an the hybrid initial takeoff is going to take some getting use to

Mine sounds like a distant siren when coming to a stop, very faint, but always gets the wife's attention.

Welcome to the wonderful world of the Hybrid Maverick! Clicks, whirs, the faint siren noise when you slowly accelerate from the intersection. It's all good, you will get used to it.

Dealership pointed out that the acceleration and deceleration whining sounds are built in pedestrian safety features verses the pedestrian danger of a completely silent electric motor. I believed it …..
