What did the factory fx4 wheels weigh? What do these weigh?

Factory 17" wheels are about 27.2 lbs
The Holeshots are 19x9 at 24.6 lbs

So pretty significant difference considering the sizes of them

I cannot understand why people get trucks equipped with an off-road package and lower them.

Just in my case $800 option gave me the larger/lariat screen I thought was worth the price alone but you get different wheels different modes frame mounted tow hooks underbody protection hitch and bigger fan/radiator cooling = cheap upgrade option & in my opinion this is an awd-unibody if’s you want off road the ranger has a lot more ground clearance and capability. But again it’s something different for each of us. I love the fact so many of us are customizing a new/cheap vehicle and I think they all look great lifted or lowered and not just standard stuff.
