Painting Advice for Centercaps

Hey friends! Have decided to spray paint the center caps on my steelies black. Have always loved the black centers ever since having stock steelies on my first car, a 2001 Wrangler.
Any advice for getting a good finish on those plastic caps that will hold up well over time?
