So I'm heading to the dealer this morning to place my order. let me know if this sounds correct.
1. Place my reservation at the ford website.
2. Sit with the dealer as they convert that to my buyers order
-Retail order not dealer stock order
-priority code 10
3. document that there are no other dealer fees, no dealer add accessories.
4. review MSRP and pricing information and get an OTD price including all taxes, licensing and title fees.

You seem properly prepared. Get your copy of the Order Preview aka DORA (Dealer Order Receipt Acknowledgment). That will show your priority code. Good luck getting a 10, but don’t be surprised if they keep you at 19. That is only for priority within your dealership, so not a huge factor as I understand it.

Good luck! Especially if its a hybrid. A few stories floating around of certain dealers already cutting off orders.

Also be advised there are some other stories about them swapping the spray in liner with a drop in if you are looking to add the luxury package to your trim level. Just an FYI so you're not shocked if they propose that.

Let us know how it goes.

Yes I am aware of the bedliner issue. I have a list of issues to discuss with the dealer and thats one of them and they seem pretty aware of the issues. when I spoke with them yesterday and seemed to have pretty legit answers that fit with what Im reading on here.

Just in the dealer is now saying the heated steering wheel is out. Ford now has a second luxury package that has no heated steering wheel, and a drop in liner that has already disclosed on here. The package price stayed the same at 2345

Here's my order summary. Does it look right. I did receive the email from Ford within 30mins for order confirmation. The dealer told me that the heated steering wheel is no longer available along with the spray in bed liner. They told me there are now two XLT Luxury packages and the one with the heated steering wheel and spray in bed liner is no longer functional and you have to accept the other package with the heated steering removed and drop in bed liner. They had no answer for any price differences.

Hmm, I placed my order online and spoke to the dealership over the phone. I think I'll go in sometime this week and see if I can get that order sheet and get it signed to say I will be paying MSRP.
Does anyone have an idea how to move your order to a different dealership? Just in case the one I ordered from wants to screw me.
