order change - XLT hybrid to Lariat hybrid - reset in queue?

I've had my XLT hybrid+lux on order since Sept last year. Still getting the "we are sorry" emails from Ford.
If I ask my dealer to change to the Lariat hybrid + bunch o' other fluff, will that reset my status in the queue, or is that a whole new order, of which I'm not entirely sure when the next order bank will open again?
