Does anyone know when you need to provide a pin to get the x-plan price? I saw on this forum somewhere it was either when they scheduled the build, or when they started the build. Somewhere else (not on this forum) I read it was before you pick it up. I'm ready to order, but I'm not eligible for a pin, though the Mustang club, for another 60 or so days.

When I went into my Ford dealer I told them up front it would be an Xplan purchase and they had no problem with this. The pin is supplied when you go and sign your lease/purchase papers.

I told the salesperson that I would be using Xplan when I placed my order, I read that you have to do that. Also told him that I would be eligible by the time the Maverick was delivered. From what I read the pin must be submitted to the dealer at delivery or before to get the discount.

No need to guess: X-plan is Invoice - 0.4% + $275 program fee, dealer doc fees limited to $100.

Can you explain how this works better? I qualify for the x plan and a student discount. Would it be better (cheaper) to have one courtesy delivered at that price? I'm guessing I wouldn't be able to get both my incentives plus the 4% under invoice.

Depends but that 3.6% needs to be greater than the CD added to the PA Document fee-whatever the plan doc fee is.
