With a current confirmed MY23 order (and a VIN #), but no new changes to schedule date, should I be contacting the dealer to put in a MY24 based on this? Or should I expect to be receiving a MY23?

Little known fact, when your car is totaled, the insurance company lowballs the value. You can appeal the figure usually by producing several comps from used car sights/dealers showing a similar car priced accordingly. Done it a couple times. Always gets me a few more grand at leastI will add the new car replacement and let the insurance people freak out on how much a marked up hybrid cost but I'm not losing sleep unless it happens. Hopefully it never will
We knew more than our dealer every time I had to deal with them.... Prettywild.Just two weeks ago we were at World Ford in Pensacola picking up our new XLT Hybrid and I told our sales agent to put me on her calendar for the morning of July 17th. When I told her why, she called her sales manager over who proceeded to tell me I had no idea what I was talking about and that 2024 ordering wouldn't open before September or October and I shouldn't believe things just because I read them on the interwebs. I'm so hoping to be able to keep that appointment next month, place an order and look up that sales manager...![]()
