I've been reading a few threads here and there on this site and finally decided it was time to sign up. Seems like the fact that some of us have been waiting on orders a long time (myself included) I ordered a base 2.0 eco mid October of 2021. Only option I couldn't live without was the tow package. At first things were great I received the order confirmation. Followed by a denial of my 727 credit to finance w ford no prob I contacted dealer and said I will buy without financing. Then cold and lonely darkness with 0 info from dealer (with exception of an even colder email stating "I told you it may be a long time'" I followed up with a smart ass email about how long time could be very subjective... ... more darkness then an inbox email from ford about how a new vehicle is exciting and we're sorry but your order is delayed... so a recent thread comment made me sign up today. I stopped caring if/when the truck will be built. At this point I'm just sick about it. Excitement ford says Huh... this was actually my first new vehicle purchase in life I'm pretty sure I won't chalk this up as an exciting experience. Borderline excruciating maybe. Possibly getting a VIN in 2022? Perhaps being pushed back to a 2023 model? These are exciting times we're in now

Keep the faith Shawn. Patience is the name of the game. Ordered mine July 7th 2021 and it got to the dealer March 3rd 2022, 8 mos after ordering.

As I have posted on other threads similar to yours, the average wait time for this brand new vehicle is 8 mos +/- 1.5 mos. Most, if not all, the late orders (meaning after summer 2021) should arrive around that time period. I anticipate yours to be shipped around June 2022. Once you receive the VIN, it's in the production schedule.

Hope this helps.

Hang in there, I'm too a mid October hybrid so I'm off worse than you. If the rumors are true about the Canada order being rolled over hopefully this means more production for US

Huh what?
Had not heard that Canada orders are being rolled over...
But I did hear from our dealer that 2500 Hybrid engines had been released to help with scheduling.

I'd suggest that you hang-in there.
My order date was the same as yours, and two weeks ago I received the coveted email stating that my Mav had been assigned a VIN number and production date (week of May 16th)...XLT EcoBoost, AWD, 4K-Tow, Fancier Wheels, sliding rear glass.
At the urging of my Dealer, I dropped the Lux-package about 1-1/2 months ago. 'Looks like it helped expedite.

Good things come to those who wait!

I have an Aug 2021 order that just went into production and likely won’t be delivered until June/July.

That's awesome! Congrats on the next step and being out of the dark ...kinda. I'm even more happy for you that you have a dealer who actually helped in the process. Mine almost seems annoyed that I've sent 3 emails to him over a 6+ month wait completely in the dark. I do appreciate the encouragement to Hang in there by you and others In the thread. Might just be the kick I the ass I need.
