And what would you do when some Civic rear ended that classic on your commute? that truck is not original and if it was you would not want to drive it much. Manual steering, brakes that go from 60 to zero in 2 miles, no AC, no radio, etc. But I get what you are saying. It is a good looking truck. And dimension wise the Maverick is closer to it than any other Ford truck

As the owner of a classic, all those things you listed, are most likely installed on that old truck, including AC.

What I said, it is NOT an original truck. So do you use yours as a daily commuter? I have a 20 year old Mustang with 20k on it (bought a year ago with 19K) and I wouldn't drive it as a commuter.

Until this maverick, my 89 corvette was my daily. I drive my cars. If I had that F-1 I'd drive it, not leave it to rot or as a museum display. It's a work vehicle, that's what it's designed for. Yes I realized that this one is likely updated or upgraded, but it's still sweet.
