Welcome aboard. You can believe about half of what you read here; the problem is figuring out which half that is. Seriously, a lot of good info and tips can be found here. What color XLT did you get?

I'm new to the group and appreciate any advice. Ordered a 2022 Maverick Lariat back in October. I knew there might be delays at the time but 8 months later I'm still not hearing much from Ford. I've touched base with the local dealership to see if adjusting the order can facilitate production but haven't heard back from them. What can I expect?

You can have things dropped. Recommend subscribing to @longMcArthur Ford on YouTube videos. Tim Bartz has added many other channels. He has videos spelling out how the dealer can change things, even if it went to priority 2, the dealer moves it back to a 10-19 and makes the changes and notifies the region to move it back to a priority code of 2. If it's still between 10-19 just don't change trim or engine but can drop constraints items as the lux pkge, and other items. https://www.youtube.com/c/LongMcArthurSalina
