I ran over a fender screw going past a wreck a couple weeks ago and the dealership wasn't able to successfully plug it. I hadn't even hit 20k miles on those tires.
Instead of replacing the tire I decided to go ahead and upgrade all the way with the Falken Wildpeak Trail A/T tires. I upped the width from 225 to 235 but otherwise kept the rest the same size (235/60r18). The new shoes are looking good!
For those curious about the "Full Size Spare" and how it compares to the stock wheels, here's you a look at it:
