Your first sentence probably brought back memories for quite a few of us!!:devilish: Okay, we will be gentle with you since this your "first time" for the forum. Be aware that things may change as you become accustomed to forum interactions!!!

Welcome!!!
Oh I am used to forum interactions I been on tractor, garage/tool and other automotive forums. I just said that for humor and if anyone noticed it as it took 14 posts before someone jumped on the first sentence.

Nice Mike — she looks great!
Understand being up North you’d want AWD and the Turbo is great at elevation of course. Enjoy the ride!

Having AWD is a game changer in this area. MY old Equinox had selectable AWD and since I live on the top of a rather steep hill that is a private dead end road when we do get snow it was like going from slip slip sliding away to just climbing the hill without a issue. When I started to look around I first found a used Maverick Hybrid and it would have been adequate for most of my needs except the snow on the hill. I decided against it for the reason I wanted and actually need the AWD as I also need to be able to get out in a emergency as my wife is in a assisted living home (dementia) and something happened I need to go now.

Otherwise then that I have been hitting Amazon a bit to add items to the Maverick already. One of the things that really bugged me was the fact the chrome surrounding around the Ford logos as this truck has no other chrome on it except those gaudy surrounds. The other item is I always cover the dash with a carpeted cover to cut glare off the dash and to protect the dash from sun damage.

Welcome Mike,
That’s a no on the fuel filter. No need to replace. I found that in my owners manual for my 2024 Ecoboost.
Shadow Black, yeah my previous Bronco Sport was Shadow black.
For four years I used a regular full on touch car wash and sometimes did it my self. The paint looked new at four years, It never saw a garage.
I used turtle wash and wax.
