Got my 24 Hybrid XLT in late Jan. Love it so far. Averages 41.2 mpg so far. Drive on Eco and haven't made any driving habit changes. Very happy. Only 2 issues. Wish it would just stay in eco instead of resetting every time. Sometimes I hit a bump and the audio turns off altogether. What's that about? Should I get that checked out?

Are you listening to the radio or are you utilizing Android Auto/Apple CarPlay? If you are using the latter I would check your cable first and make sure your phone isn't disconnecting every time you hit a bump. Lower quality cables can be temperamental.

The radio seems to be an issue all around. I have had it numerous times randomly go quiet for about 2 seconds. And anytime I have carplay hooked up usually between 30-60 min's it will just quit and it won't always reconnect very easily. I did read on here that some have deleted their phone and wifi from the truck and reset it up and that seems to have helped but I have not tried it yet.

Also, you might want to check for a firmware update. May have to have the dealer do it. Won't take long.

Sounds like a cable problem. About 90% of tech problems are caused by cables. Since that's the easiest, I'd first try a new cable. If that doesn't do it, it might be a loose connection on the USB port on the truck.

Welcome!

If you got an iPhone, the plugs get dirty pretty easy and also wear out. My wife's phone's always do that. I use a big Ulefone tablet as a phone it seems to work great though there are some features that work only qhen its bluetoothed and some when its plugged in. Like I can type in phone numbers on the tablet when it's bluetoothed, but the maps don't run. Or when its plugged in I got maps, but call only call people that i have saved or have number listed in maps. I thinks it's all safety related.

Hey Dante.

Welcome to the club and congratulations on getting your Maverick!

Now that you have it, perhaps one of the first mods is to add a Maverick Truck Club decal so you can properly “represent.”

Two styles/sizes available:

Maverick Truck Club Decal (Glossy) | MaverickTruckClub - 2022+ Ford Maverick Pickup Forum, News, Owners, Discussions ($5 delivered)

Maverick Truck Club Decal (Transfer) | MaverickTruckClub - 2022+ Ford Maverick Pickup Forum, News, Owners, Discussions ($6 delivered)

Good point. OP might want to try connecting another phone or seeing if his phone does the same with another vehicle.
