Need Advise on Lift for Mobility Scooter

Can anyone advise me if you have successfully installed a lift to transport a mobility chair, scooter etc? Our chair is a Quantum and the lift we used on our old truck is a Harmar platform that we hoped to install on our Mav 2022 EcoBoost FWD. But Harmar is saying they can't install it because the the Mav is not safe to do so. I noticed a post on here from a member in 2021 who said he intended to install Liftgator to transport his mobility chair. If he is still reading forums I am wondering if he can let me know if he was successful. Any and all suggestions from other members on what options we might have would be very much appreciated. It would be helpful if you could provide specifics like lift brand, type. capacities and necessary modifications, etc. since I am a senior woman who has no technical knowledge of what might work (or not work) and local Ford dealer had no suggestions. Getting to the point may have to consider trading in the Mav if we can't come up with a mobility solution and that would be terrible.

Thank you, CSmith, for directing me to that earlier op's post. Not quite sure how to contact an individual op directly on this site but I will try to figure it out and ask if he/she got the liftgator installed.
