My truck is so smart!

Today I was driving home from work and I was thinking that the weather was finally clearing up enough that I might be able to wash the truck this weekend. It has been a few weeks and the road spray up the side was detracting from the beautiful Red color. So I turned into the sun and I got this screen, red of course, that is telling me the front camera is obscured and that I need to clean the screen.

I am assuming this is the proximity camera on my Lariat and that all that road grime is keeping it from doing its job. But I did get a laugh out of it. Gee, these things will tell me when I need to wash them I guess I don't have to worry about it getting to dirty then.

I had a similar experience but with frost.

Usually you just need to pull the handle that makes your wipers and spray turn on for a couple seconds and you're good to go. Enjoy your truck!

Twas sunny and warm today so it got a bath.

Odd that it told me that because the previous two mornings we had it cold enough that I needed to scrape the frost off the window. I must have left some streaks in the way or something that caught the sun and glared it just right. It only did that message twice, both times I turned west into the sun.
