My new Maverick!

Hello all! On Thursday evening I finally took delivery of my 2024 Maverick XLT Hybrid in Carbonized Gray Metallic!

This was a dealer lot find at Ciocca Ford in Red Lion Pennsylvania. Originally a special order that was bagged due to the lag time between ordering and delivery it was on the lot for around two months. But it’s mine now!

The first three mods planned are very basic; a tailgate piston and black lug nuts, and a spray in liner.

Currently trying to decide whether to go with Line-X or Gorrila

I have a question. I bought solid chrome lug nuts for my Mav. Would it be ok to just take one off at a time and replace it with the solid one while sitting in my driveway, not being jacked up? Thanks!

@dadd75 That was my plan too. I don’t think it will do any harm.

EDIT: one additional thing that popped into my head…

Just to be on the safe side of things I’m thinking that it might make sense to replace each lug nut, still 1 at a time and do this in a star pattern like is done when mounting the wheel fresh.

Just make sure you guys retorque them after about 50 miles.

Nice! Congratulations you'll love driving it. I just put my new all-weather mats in and like them SO much better than the carpet mats that came with. All-weather mats are simple to put in, and pull back out to clean. Recommend!

Congrats I have the exact same one! I added front wind scoop and in channel rain deflectors to mine. It's a nice ride. Comfortable and my hybrid has plenty of power for passing on highways. Enjoy!
