I've used it for years in our other hybrid and the Maverick. Believe it's good oil. But really, in low stress engines like these, as long as it meets manufacturer specs., and gets changed, I doubt there would be a noticeable difference between brands for most folks.

Well it's the same price as Walmart. I guess it just depends if you hope Amazon sends u an authentic product. I just got a used wix oil filter in an open box.

I feel your pain, having to grab an extra quart all the time, then not being able to dump the used oil fully into one container. It's like the hot dog buns come 8 in a pack but hot dogs are sold 10 in a pack. MATHS MAN.

$33.49 for the same Mobil 1 0w20 full synthetic 6 qt at Costco, that's $10 off the same regular price as Sam's Club, through this Saturday (April 8). In-store only. Slightly more per quart than this Amazon deal, it seems, but if you don't want to risk Amazon spilling oil everywhere and/or want the convenience of a 6 qt pack, it's an option.

Only Mobil 1 Truck/SUV, Advanced Fuel Economy and their Extended Performance list that they meet the required Ford specification WSS-M2C962-A1 stated in the owners manual for the hybrid engine. Oddly, Mobil 1’s new hybrid oil does not list this specification.

This may be a myth, but the initial factory oil is designed for the break in period unlike what is offered commercially. Not like old school thought change after first 500 mile because they used commercially available oil in first place.
My opinion is wait until 2000 miles.

You sure about that? What's your source? Because the jug lists the 962-A1 spec...

I used Mobil 1 0w20 in my Escape Hybrid for 12 years.

Blackstone Labs used oil analysis for my specific truck showed the oil was good for beyond 20,000 miles. I usually did it at 15k to 20k and never went beyond 20k.

No engine issues ever. Got rear-ended that totaled it at nearly a quarter million miles. I really miss that vehicle.
