Middle Tennessee owners - Dealer experiences?

Those of you who have been lucky enough to get your Maverick, how was the experience at the dealership? Which dealership did you use? Did you order it or get it off the lot?

Wyatt Johnson - Off lot - no markup but 1200.00 "security package" Jeff Kinsey salesman - good guy. The Financing was a gauntlet of BS - basically refused to do Ford financing. Called me when he had a refused order available. Checked up after a week to see if everything was OK - recommend him for sure.

Ford of Franklin - August order - NO communication - off lot charges 5K over if one is available. Not sure of the crap they possibly will try to add when my order comes in hopefully not ...... pretty disappointed in them overall.

Ford of Murfreesboro - Cant even get those folks to answer an email.

Thats all I got - If I order another truck for my company Id order from Jeff again.

Addition: when the 2023 orders rolled around I was told by the folks there I had to put down $1000 to even order a truck ....... ordered from Long McArthur and Ford of Franklin. June now and have heard nothing from either.

I have a Maverick on order with Hunt Ford in Franklin Kentucky. About thirty minutes north of Nashville. So far it has been a good experience. Give Lexi a call.
Don't expect any dealer to magically have inventory.

Good info, thanks! I tried to order through Two Rivers in early July but couldn't get a response from them. Have you had any experiences with them?

I went to a sales training event in August at Ford of Franklin. They had a trainer Maverick and invited customers to come see it. Their sales lead announced to all the customers in attendance who had made a reservation with them, saying they could now sit down with them and place an actual order. So at least some of their June reservations apparently sat for two months without an actual order placed!

I ordered from Chapman in late July and am taking delivery this week.

yup I ordered in August and was told - hey you got in with the first orders so that makes sense. Ill bet you are right. I'm supposed to have a May 9th build week but not holding my breath. Lariat 360 Lux package.

Just curious if you’ve been scheduled yet. Was told there was only 8 in front of me in January and still have not been scheduled

I got the email from Ford as "in Production" in early April. I picked the truck up in Mid-May from the dealer. Original build week was in March, then that changed a couple of times. About three weeks from build to deliver to dealer.
Hunt Ford very good dealer to work with. Kept there agreement on everything.

Ordered from Wyatt Johnson. I tried Town & Country several times but never got a response. Tried several others in the area. Wyatt Johnson was the only dealer to reply to my order request.

Finally took delivery on 7/7/2022. Cannon Bullock was my salesman and he was very nice. I did have to be adamant about the price matching on my signed Order Sheet. They were trying to charge me the updated MSRP that happened earlier this year.

I finally got them to figure that part out by calling their Ford rep. I showed them the Tim Bartz video as well mentioning Smart Vincent.

Financing went smoothly and they were able to get me the 1.9% financing back from August 2021 when I placed my order.

Overall a great experience compared to the horror stories I have heard about $5-10k over MSRP on retail orders.

If you’re willing to drive 2-3 hours from Nashville to west Tennessee, Peppers Ford in McKenzie TN treated me right. They are a small dealership but no markups, honored price available when ordered, and got me 0.9 percent financing that was available when I ordered in 10/21. Kenny McBride is sales there and was honest and transparent the whole process! It was worth the drive for me and I much better than most of the Nashville area dealerships that I’ve dealt with in the past.

Yes I agree Peppers Ford in Mc Kenzie . That is wear I got my Maverick from also from Kenny he was my salesman . MSRP plus all discounts No problems at all except I drove Todd the sales manager crazy getting a very good price for my trade in . Peppers has many other dealerships in Paris Tn I have brought Chevys ,Toyotas Jeeps and used vehicles from them Good People you can take that to the BANK
