Thanx for the compliments. I really do like the look, but I can't take credit for the idea. Someone here posted a picture of doing the same thing. And that made me realize that doing the bed just extended the design idea from inside the cabin. I remember reading that the orange accents in the cabin are on the expected "touch points" (door handle, air vent adjusters, etc). So, I figure, that the biggest "touch point" of a cargo vehicle is the actual cargo area itself.

I haven't really inspected for water leaks that much (no bed rug to try to keep dry ;) ), but I suspect I have some leaks by the latches simply because at night I can see light from inside the bed with everything closed at those corners. At some point, I'm going to 3D print myself a couple shims (probably 1/4" at first) to push the bed rails a little further back towards the tailgate. Probably out of solid TPU for a little rubber grippy so they hopefully won't slip off over time with vibration.

One thing that I did during my initial install is I used little scraps of the soft gasket foam to fill the notches in the plastic trim on the sides near the front under the rails. I don't know if that helped since I don't have any performance metrics without the gap fill. But it made me feel a little better about the install.
Cool, thanks for the reply. Yeah I added some insulation into the tailgate to funnel the water. That did the trick for that area. The bulkheads still needs some fine tuning. I might try and design some drain funnel and tube to cover the area that is leaking by the spring.

After driving it a couple days, the one thing that really bugs me is the speedometer. More specifically, how the speedo is marked. Numbers on the 20's, ticks on the 10's and nothing on the 5's. Gonna have to guess on all the speed limits that end in 5...
I just round my speed up to the nearest 20.

Uh, halfway between 50 and 60 would be 55. Do you really need it any more accurate than what the dial shows? If so, just use the digital speedo. 🙄

I've gotten used to the spedo, but I still would like more granularity in the markings. I've taken to using the speed readout in Waze through AndroidAuto if I want to see what my one's digit is.
