I installed the Maxmate roll up cover on my 2023 today, and it was fairly simple:
- phillips screwdriver
- 10mm socket
That's all I needed and it took about 30 mins because I had to sweep out the bed/etc. first
Driving up to Tahoe tomorrow (235 miles, 6120 foot elevation) and we'll see how it does.

Seems pretty nice for the price. I see you can get a tri-fold for another $20. Still under $200. Thanks for the heads up.
I am having trouble with this install. Two quick questions: Is the front of the cover (up against the cab) held in place just by the rails? When I go to close my cover it slides a bit. I am concluding that my rails are not tight enough. The current model only has 4 clips not 6 as shown in most videos. I am having trouble getting them tight enough. Is there a trick to that? They aren't sliding but they are definitely locked tight. Thanks!
