I have no problem with the lack of cruise, and I like the base radio. Sounds good to me, everything works and is simple to operate. (Unlike the one in my Mustang) the only things I have done are new 5 spoke wheels, a bed mat from Ford and a tri-fold bed cover) Can’t think of anything more I would want on it.

Did the cruise control install today with the switches - remarkably easy (only took an hour or so - most time consuming task was getting the kid seat out of the back to access the 12v battery).

i like some of the interior improvements on the higher trims, but not enough to really care. I didn’t order and got lucky finding one on a lot, so I didn’t have a choice - but for the price I think the XL hybrid is the best bang for the buck. Cruise was the only issue, and now that’s solved.

would love AWD and a PHEV option, but overall I’m just so happy with the truck.

Hey XL Hybrid Owners,
Is there anything other than the lack of cruise control (Advanced Cruise Control) or regular, lack of flip down cupholders in the backseat, and lack of SYNC 3 that you wish the XL had? I'm aware of the lack of AWD and that not part of the equation in my mind at this time.

I ask these questions because financially my options point me to an XL even though I would prefer the bells and whistles of a Lariat. I have a 2003 F-150 Lariat 5.4L that was my daily driver til the clock crossed 333,700 miles, now I'm driving an Avenger which is about to roll over 200,000 miles. It's all cloth with an aftermarket Bluetooth stereo w/o Android Auto. I don't mind not having all the bells and whistles as my Lariat had in it's prime. I'm just curious what else I would be giving up by going with the cheaper XL. I know that I would still get remote start via the FordPass app which for the most part a must in Texas summers.

What else would I miss out on that you guys also which the XL came with besides the previously mentioned items above?

My apologies if I rambled on and thank you in advance for any answers and advice.
Nope. I like mine exactly as is. The radio works well and hooks up to apple car play in a snap. (Unlike my 2016 Mustang, in which the radio is so complicated, that I just use the basics) Even my cat likes it. The only vehicle he goes in where he sits on the console next to me and just looks around.

Hi OP I got an XL 360
I purchased the CC parts for 60$ from another member
I am picking up new Bronco Badlands FX4 Rims and Tires for 700$
I am using my Ford Pass points for the rear cubbies and power tailgate locks and tiedown straps.
I effectively am getting a XLT for 800$ in extra parts and a 650$ Co-Pilot 360 upgrade which comes with an extra tire and power mirrors on the XL.
