Hello all! I know there is threads about speaker upgrades already but I’m looking for a specific thing. I have the B&O system and I’m looking to add a subwoofer that I already own and want to do so without cutting any factory wires. Does anyone know if any plug and play adapters for that?

If you only need to connect to the subwoofer output then I'm 99% certain you'd want to use a Motorcraft WPT-1456 female connector to match up to the factory male connector. The male connector likewise is a WPT-1016 if you wanted to make a bypass harness and retain the factory subwoofer. Although by that point you might be cheaper getting a PAC APH-FD02 even if you'll only be using two wires of it (the Maverick B&O only outputs one channel of subwoofer). The PAC harness takes a little modification on its connectors to properly match but then you'll have the capability to easily add front tweeter/woofer amplification later.

I would like to add a amp and woofer so would it be best to use the PAC APH-FD02?

If you are only doing a subwoofer+amp and are going to remove/disconnect the stock one you could just use the WPT-1456 into a line-out converter or amp with high-level input.

If you think you might want to have the subwoofer+amp and a multichannel amplifier for the other speakers later then probably the PAC.

I used the the PAC plug in harness and I have all the wires ran correctly for my amp and my rca converter. I have power to the amp and the controller but I can not get any sound out of the subs. What speaker wires and I supposed to splice into in that harness

I have attempted many different ways to make this adapter work, but I haven’t found a way to get sound to an auxiliary amp. Do you have any pictures on how you wired yours or any other suggestions?

It should be something like this:

Ford Maverick Maverick Subwoofer Upgrade 1668045197153

(Edited to make line converter wire input color clearer.)
