I ordered a Cactus Grey XLT today! Im super pumped because this will be my first brand new truck. Downsizing from my Silverado finally. What sort of time frame am I looking at from order to arrival? I already received an order confirmation email from Ford.

Big congrats to you but spend some time checking out the forum. No one really knows how long it'll take. Could be a few weeks, could be months. Set your expectations low but keep fingers crossed!

Ah yea I see now that topic has been discussed thoroughly haha. Expectations are definitely low! Looking forward to buzzing around in the Maverick though 😎

Best guess would be anywhere from 3 to 6 months. Ford seems to be (finally) catching up on Hybrid orders now so your EcoBoost may take a few extra weeks.

Didn't your dealer give you an estimate? (although some are giving wild guesses as reported here)

Yea the dealership I think has no idea, he was like “could be 10 weeks, could be 6 months” lol.

Pull up a chair as there will be a wait. Also, be prepared for the complainers that have to tell us how this is the 100th thread about the same thing. Just ignore them. We all complain about something because we love to complain. Even after we get the truck, we have to criticize it. We can't help it.

Same! It won't be long before we're seeing Mavericks all over the place! Looking forward to getting mine in a couple months. It's been a long wait, but folks generally are pretty pleased with their new trucks and I am expecting to be all smiles when finally behind the wheel of mine!

A dealer that says they have no idea is at least honest. :)

We hear the full gamut around here from, next week to next model year (or later). Both extremes saying with a straight face and full confidence.

In sales they say you should master the Three C's when communicating to a customer. Be confident, be competent and be clear. That elicits customer trust. Notice accuracy is not on that list.
