Loved my 03 Sporttrac, had it ten years. Traded it in in 2013 because it was costing $70-80 to fill the tank
Thats how much it costs me to fill up my Ecoboost Maverick now in Southern California. A few months ago I put $90 into if for 15.5 gallons.

2004, which got written off when hit by a drunk driver. Then a 2003 with fewer miles.
Both have been the fussiest cars I've ever dealt with.. need specific brands of premium gas, a thousand vacuum lines any leak in any of which will impact the running, etc etc etc
If I were doing it again and was set on a WRX, it would be the auto as the 6 speeds (or 5 in the early years) seemed way too weak. Doing nothing to the car it is still temperamental let alone once you start fooling with them.
