I just got a call from the sales guy at the dealership telling me my truck has arrived. Going to go get it here in a bit.
Question- what all should I be looking for? I know some people have said their truck arrived with paint defects or the trim around the windows is poorly installed and coming away from the truck body? Just want to make sure I’m looking for the right things? And my order was placed October 2021 so I should be price protected, right? Ford will pay the dealership the difference between current price vs price at time of order?

Mainly, look for scuffs, scratches or dents that may have been added during shipment. The dealer should have done the same, but two looks are better than one any day.

It’s important to make sure all is good before you drive away, because once you leave those types of issues are now on you.

Ford will pay the dealership the difference (or most of it) between the current invoice price, and the invoice price @ the time of order. Not all dealers have been willing to pass this on to the customer, but they should sell to you for the price they agreed upon when you ordered.
