Has anyone used this? What do you think? Can it be easily removed?

I bought one with FordPass points and love it. Use it all the time.

My Nissan Frontier came with one. I promptly removed and discarded it. I seldom drive with the tailgate down, and its odd shape (like the Maverick's bed extender) wastes a lot of space in the bed.

To containerize small items and prevent them from rolling around in the bed, I picked up a stack of Insta Crates from Costco.

If I carried long items on the regular, I'd get one of those bed extenders that goes in the trailer hitch.

Thanks notfast.
My wife’s F150 had a bed extender.
We will see how it goes.

I use mine quite a bit.

I got it so I could throw bikes in the back if I wanted without needing a bike rack tailgate cover thing or removing the front tires mostly. I've stuffed the back with donation stuff and used it, and it makes for a nice little cubby when throwing groceries in the back. Also used it when hauling a bunch of dead branches to the drop off in our town. It does split your bed, but you can remove it and set it in the corner if it's in the way too where it's less likely to block anything if you end up hauling something bigger and want the tailgate up.

Couldn't be happier, it ties down by locking into the tailgate clamp things (and releases with a pull of the tailgate handle). It removes in about two seconds and can do it by yourself too, just lift about 1/4 of the way up and it pulls right out.

I've had pretty much the same experience, when I have it flipped back it is great for putting groceries and such and keeping it from moving around the bed, also if I need to remove it for larger items that don't require the extension it easily fits in the back seat. Pretty happy with it.
