All four of my windows make a loud, stuttering noise only when rolling down, not up. Normally, I would consider this a bad motor and just bring it in for service, but the fact that all four make the exact same stuttering is strange.

Any opinions? I've tried lubricating the tracks with silicone spray to no avail. I'm thinking either the regulators or motors need some fixing, not sure if they're separate or one piece on this truck.

I just cycled all 4 of mine and didn’t hear a difference between down & up, so I think you are definitely right to go get it checked.

Ford dealer will say that is normal.
Well, given how quickly a dealer dismissed my issue of the windshield wipers dropping down into intermittent mode in pouring rain, they'll find ways to dismiss anything.

In that instance, the service writer informed me that they were "waiting on parts" to resolve the issue. Instead, they printed out an SSM calling me a dummy for running the wiper blades on dry glass, triggering an overheat protection mode where it slows way down. But again, it was doing this in pouring rain, posing a safety hazard...

They also told me that it was normal for a hatch to slam shut from nearly fully open, instead of the struts pushing it open the rest of the way...

Sometimes you have to push back when they try to dismiss your valid concerns outright.
