Would like to see the tire clearance at full lock. Were any recalibrations made for the tire size?
Yeah I'd like to see them in person but in his comments section he said that their is no rub at all. I'm looking at bigger tires myself may try them on while I wait for the lift just to see how bad the rub for others

As cool as these tiers are the additional mass + more contact resistance to the road will give less mpg. Prob 1-2 mpg less.
But sometimes it’s worth it because of the cool factor.

Looks great, and I would want a recalibrate done.

Man this really has me second questing. My truck is at port and I should take delivery early next week. I’ve already purchased 245/65R17 Toyo AT3’s. I wish I knew if I could size up to 245/70’s. Ughh!

They are taller which will change the gear ratio, giving you better MPG.

Looks great but man I bet that poor Maverick is a dog now, performance-wise..

Those 245/65R17 Wildpeak At3w's are 39 lb tires per Falken, the stock Pirelli's are only 25 lbs each. That 14 lb increase (56%) per corner has to majorly rob performance and fuel, all just to gain 1/2" of ground clearance... pass.

Perfect for those who need to flex on the gram though!

I could be wrong but I believe those Pirellis are 29lbs each. But you’re right, those Wildpeaks are a bit heavy, that was one of the factors that’s drew me to the Toyo AT3’s as they are 34lbs in 245/65.

Not just to flex some people like to go off road with their trucks. Also that extra weight may hurt acceleration a lil and breaking not enough to worry me. But it won't kill the fuel as much as you think.

Tire rack is showing them at 25 lbs, they're usually on the ball for wheel/tire weights. I can't find the specs directly from Pirelli to say for sure though.

I've done the "stuff the wheel well" game on almost every other truck/suv I've owned, I used to lie about the effects on MPG as well but the truth is, larger, wider, heavier tires have crushed MPG in my experience. Always thought it looked damn good though, guess I'm getting old by not doing that with my Maverick.

Hell, most times I'd go right from the dealership to the tire shop so I never even knew baseline MPG, ignorance is bliss I suppose.

Stock Pirelli’s suck in the snow/slush. I am going 235. Not sure which but leaning towards Falken.

that might be a bit much I think
235/70 r17 might be the tallest I’m willing to try at first.
