I read this article today and wanted to see if anybody could clarify if ford is only leasing Mavericks at the standard 5-6% rate for only retail units or for people that are waiting on orders. I’ve had an order in since November and wanted to clarify. I’ve been excited and patient for my order but paying the standard rate would kill the deal. Thanks for any help!

My dealer said I could lease or buy when my order comes in. In fact, my buyer's order was originally written up as a lease. That was back in October so not sure if things changed.

If promotional finance rates are based on the time of order maybe lease rates are too? Also, check with 3rd party leasing companies in your area, you might be surprised.

That’s what I was thinking too, but I couldn’t find an article to clarify that the lease rates would stay the same from the date of purchase.
