Is PPF really that expensive. I has been years since I have had it done but it was only a couple grand from what I remember. Granted it was on smaller vehicles
No, it’s not that expensive. I’m having my truck done as we speak. PPF on the front end, mirrors, and door handles. Then ceramic coating the whole truck….$2100 and that includes 3 step paint correction.

What happened to your paint that you already need paint correction?

Paint is always shit from the factory. It might look good but it never is perfect. Paint correction fixes that. It is a necessity to paint correct prior to ceramic coating.

So you are talking just decontamination, clay bar, then cut and buff? Or wet sanding?

Decon, clay bar, cut and buff. Usually that’s all a newer vehicle needs but it all depends on how the paint looks.
