Hey everyone I know this topic has been beaten to death but after scouring the search engine I still can’t answer my question. My question is with the 2.5” Superlift what is the largest tire I can run without rubbing, now I’m not buying new wheels so what effects will my factory 7” wide xl wheels have on this? I’m thinking a 235/70r17 would be my best option but would like to get some opinions.

I could have sworn I have heard people run 245/70r17s on 2" kits or (un)levelling kits. Thats what I hope to put on my Tremor.

I have 245/70/17 on mine on stock suspension and I do not rub. I think that same size with 2.5 lift would look pretty goofy. I want to go with bigger tires next time.

Damn good looking truck!

Have you done anything at full articulation? Mine will be flexing out everytime it leaves home. Especially after the storm we just had. I spent the last 3 hours shoveling in the rain. Our 40ft tall, 20-30 degree switchback driveway just developed a 18" rut in it. We will have it fixed up in time but it happens. My ZJ on 29" ATs made it up but its got some decent real solid axle flex.

Not any that I've noticed, I have 23k miles on my Mav with this wheel setup. Some tires will have a more aggressive tire pattern which can rub on the felt fender liners like the Toyos, but mine didn't. It is really close though.

When I go bigger I will probably grind the pinch weld and lift it 1" once there is a good shock/spring lift.

I have Atturo Trail Blade ATS in 245/70/17

Thats good to hear. Our Tremor should take the 245/70r17 Maxxis Bighorns with ease then.
