Lakeland, FL Used Car Buyers

Hello, this is OT as far as Maverick is concerned, but I have been tasked by my in-laws to assist them in selling their 2016 Buick Lacross with < 21K miles on it in Lakeland, FL. I live in PA.

I'm looking for knowledge on what is the current medium for selling cars in Lakeland these days. As in do people use AutoTrader, and stuff like that any more?

I might need to hire an honest mechanic to take a look at it to make sure it's as cherry as the inlaw say. Anyone know any honest Buick dealers down there?

If you don't get the price you want on Autotrader etc, you could give Carmigo a shot. We list your car via auction and our multiple dealerships bid on it, which sometimes yields higher offers. I’m about 40 miles away from Lakeland. It’s been a couple years but I sold my Wife’s Ford Cmax on the Autotrader. It didn’t take long but I think the used car market has changed a lot since then!

I sold a 2017 Buick Lacrosse to Carvana last December In Orlando. It had 99K miles. But was the Premium, premium model. 17K. FWIW….

Thanks. For some reason the mother in law decided to call the dealer who sold them the car and he’s gonna buy it.

I guess it’s the whole living out of state thing.
