key fob didnt work

I pushed the unlock button on my key fob and it would not unlock doors. I went to Ford Pass and luckily I was able to unlock the door. After that they key fob has worked every time i tyr to lock or unlock the door. Any ideas?

Battery. They come with cheap batteries and some are hit and miss. Or, just a random communication error. No big deal. But it's a good idea to replace the battery if you've had this happen just in case.

Use the key if the fob doesn't work.
Replace the battery, as Montana suggested.

it happened to me once and only once ! dealer says it could have been one of those electronic signs !
