I decided to spend $337 for an OEM BAP/Tremor Taillight from a Ford dealer that had it in stock. https://ford.oempartsonline.com That was the way to go as opposed to an unknown $250 aftermarket one. I did pay $15.27 for shipping too.
Truck is too new at 12 months 12 days and only 15k miles to start cheaping out... LOL
Next challenge will be the body/paint repair. We ordered it through a supplier (don't have the name) in Obregon Sonora Mexico. Removed the gas cap cover and handed it off to my guy (jose luis) who conducted a test with that paint (tinted primer/metallic color/tinted clear) on bare metal and then compared that piece under sunlight and room ambient lighting to the gas cap cover. (I'll post photos of that comparison later)
So, we'll paint it towards the end of February. I have a trip in Mid February, so I'll retrieve the lamp at that point, and then upon my return to Alamos we will do the repair/paint.
