It's a 5 Year/60,000 mile POWERTRAIN warranty

Just read another post with folks debating what is going to happen when their 3 Year/36,000 mile warranty expires on their "engine". Am I missing something? My Maverick came with a 5 year/60k Powertrain warranty that includes the engine and drivetrain. It's frustrating to see misinformation being perpetuated.

Understand what you are saying. But for at least some, maybe their definition of "engine" is not the same as yours. With all the computer input in engine performance/efficiency and just plain "running", the concern could be the replacement of those things which keep the engine running and are not covered by the powertrain warranty. Ford does cover water pump; some manufacturers do not.
