Stop the presses, @fordvideoguy , "run this up the flagpole" at Dearborn and get a plan of action going stat. The next billionaire in North America will engineer the lithium mine to battery to EV facility.

Currently, the only U.S. based mine in Silver Peak, Nevada sends it's raw materials to multiple port cities for processing at overseas locations. One of those locals in in Charlotte, NC where SK Innovations has a facility.

Blue Oval City in Stanton, TN won't be operational until 2025. The two Glendale, KY facilities will open a year later.

Tesla just jack up the prices of their models. Let the detractors spew their negativity, but a hybrid Maverick is the deal of the decade. I don't see EV prices leveling off until 2030 when the U.S. government wants BEV's to be 50% of sales.

I was astounded to see a couple of Tesla's in my area with Oregon and Washington state tags on them and wondered how they had to stop at multiple charging stations to complete their journey. Curated routes for EV's are becoming more common.
