Dealer lost my splash shield on a 23 hybrid. Replacement they ordered is LX 6B629 PA on the sticker and LX6B 6B629 EL stamped on the cover itself. Google says fits a bronco sport and escape. Can anyone please confirm this is the correct one for a maverick hybrid? Thanks

Looks correct. Although interesting that it doesn't have the large opening that would be above where the label is anymore. That area was cut out as part of the fire recall and then Ford switched to using the EcoBoost engine shield which utilizes that opening for a PTU cooling air scoop.

Yep that’s one of the things I noticed from other pictures Was that opening. The manufacturer date is after the recall. Thanks for your input

Typically the last letter, or letters, will indicate the blueprint revision. Lots of times they don't match what's on the label, but it typically does not affect form/fit/function.

Thanks again everyone. I was concerned about it not having the big cutout but Don stated he covered it up anyhow. Tomorrow it goes on after oil change. Sad when you no longer trust a dealer to do this basic task. I had seen Gpsman post about it but couldn’t tell if it had the large cutout.

That looks like the one on my 22 hybrid. I closed up the big hole and put doors and matches in to do oil changes without removing the shield. https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...e-engine-shield-or-ditch-it.38411/post-751505
Yes, I don't trust the dealers any more. I am fortunate to be able to do my own oil changes too.

Do you plan on using hybrid-specific 0-20w oil? I do not trust my dealer to do even that simple task. He said they use a "blend". Not pure syn? Not hybrid specific? He didn't know. But he was certain he would charge me $110. [5 qt jug+ 1 qt Mobil 1 hybrid specific 0-20w cost me $35 and Motorcraft 910S cost me $8.00]

really didn't need to cover it up as the door for draining oil is right there. (making the opening a little bigger will allow to drain oil without the "door")
