I'm looking to get a rooftop tent that can sit on the backrack because I live in a condo and there's height limit for vehicles.

It seems like elevate back rack is the one, but it is a bit expensive.

Are there any cheaper options where you can put some kind of adapter and cheaper rack?

Or is it a bad idea trying to cheap out?

I went with this one with the same setup you have
LMYYGOO Universal Truck Ladder Rack with Side Rails,Adjustable Length & Width,1000lbs Capacity Heavy Duty Aluminum Back Racks for Trucks https://a.co/d/4EcpN50 not the best one out there but it got the job done for me ( lumber runs etc - I personally went without the rails

If you're looking for something low profile, to keep the RTT at or near the roofline of the truck, BillieBars and Trukd have USA-made super robust systems that work with basically any tonneau cover and don't force you to drill your bedsides. They're not particularly wallet friendly though. Depending on the RTT you get, that's going to be an 80-150lb load, plus whatever you and/or your camping mate(s) weigh, so ensuring a solid foundation should be a priority, in my mind. High quality bed bars/racks have secondary market appeal too, so if you decide you're not using them anymore or get rid of the Maverick, you'll be able to offload that stuff and get some of your money back. I wouldn't say the same for universal fit Chinese stuff.
