First vehicle I've ever owned that was not a coupe, sedan, or station wagon, and first hybrid. Very psyched! Ordering within the next few days. I appreciate all the good, helpful info and personal observations here. Live in the Phoenix area, so going with Oxford White - I've driven black cars for the past 15 years or so, and it's just been too much here for about 8 or 9 months a year.

I’ve had Cadillacs, Fords, Buicks, Mercedes, Toyota, VW, Pontiac, Chevrolet, Lincoln and several others. I’ve had a 21 Lariat and a 22 Lariat maverick. I’ve had zero problems, three recalls, the dealer came to my house and did the recalls on the 22. Average 43mpg over 26000 miles between the two. No car I’ve ever had rattled like the Cadillac, Corvette and Mercedes. Stick pretty much with Ford and Toyota. I do buy the upper end of the autos I’ve had and been happiest with Ford and Toyota. You generally get what you pay for, the Lariat has been a great little vehicle. i tow it behind my RV. Not a real work truck but great little town vehicle and shirt trip auto. I find it interesting people buy a Ford and the start the , it’s a Fird, don’t expect much, then state it’s been trouble free..
