THx!! How you liking the hybrid? I started looking into the Mav for the hybrid. I drive a lot for work. Get paid mileage. I figured I could grab the hybrid and it'd pay for itself. Problem is I drive hwy A LOT!! So it loses it'd mpg saving a little there. That and some of these refineries and terminals I work at are straight mudholes. I was going to just keep with the AWD. Maybe a fx4, but this fell into my lap at sticker and I couldn't pass it up. Another cactus gray lariat in Arkansas was offered to me at MSRP. I waited an hr or so too long and it was gone. Couldn't make that same mistake twice.
Based on your driving situations and prior experiences with trying to get your hands on a Maverick, I'd say you made the right choice with the Tremor. Mileage will not mean very much if you're stuck on a treacherous road. That said, the hybrid does very well on simple off road and has good kick on the highway, but you did right. Enjoy your truck and welcome to the MTC!

Glad I was able to ease your mind a bit.
My brother would do the exact opposite. Whenever I would make a major purchase, count on him to say, "I wouldn't have bought that". Of course, he was kidding, but for a minute my throat would cinch up closed. Never failed to get me. LOL. Very happy for you!

I am loving it. I drove 6.7 miles to a rental store the other day and achieved 121.7 mpg. Another trip of 21-ish miles and got 71 mpg. If you drive like a grandpa, you can milk incredible returns!
