Ok I'm no mechanic and I have always gotten good advice from this site. All the threads I see and video's about installing the
Kia (2T062-ADUP1) rear view mirror. This is different from the original part
Kia (2T062-ADU01), but this is all they have. Will this work which I think from posts it will, but there are no videos of this being installed with a sun roof. The videos show people pulling off the cover for the wires and tapping into them, so I just have to find the wires they are using in the videos and they are not connected to the sun roof button? I am no mechanic so please let me know or if someone has used this mirror and installed with the sun roof

I don't know about that particular model. What I have heard most people install is this particular Kia model A7062-ADUP1 . Yes, it can be installed on Maverick's with a sunroof. We did on ours. It took however watching two separate YouTube videos. The first video found here: is with a sun roof. The problem is that while he shares how to connect the middle wires, he doesn't explain how to connect the remaining two wires. So we found the answer on this video fast forward to 2:27 for the exact wiring. It was pretty tight getting the connectors, reconnected after splicing, but it can be done. We used Y connectors instead of the one's used in the first video because we didn't want to use heat anywhere near the wires.

Interesting enough, someone on the forum made a really cool harness that avoided all of the splicing. Just a quick connect and even an extra connector to accommodate a dash cam, but I found out about it too late. He sold out on the harness. Anyway, it wasn't hard to do with Y-connectors. There just isn't much slack on the dome light wires. Once done, it is well worth the effort. Much success to you.

Sun roof is a PITA. The front two clips closest to the sunroof are the hardest. You need to.go through a gap between the headliner and sunroof to press them. I got one that way and the other went flying and I had to fish it out of the body work. Just be careful and go through the gap. It's the best way to ensure the metal clips do go flying off the plastic tabs. The will just rattle around and drive you nuts

I wish I would have read this prior to attempting my own install. You really do have to go through the gap or the clips risk breaking and flying off.
