I hate auto start/stop functions. One of the worst 'features' humanity has ever invented. I purchased https://a.co/d/1ClFN2q to correct for this. This adapter requires plugging directly into the module with the auto/start stop disabling button. When I ordered it I didn't realize what a pain it was to pop out that button module.
Rather than marring up the console with pry tools as others have experienced, or uninstalling the entire center console (what a pain), I decided to try a new route by unscrewing just two bolts and one panel and squeezing my arm up the side.
To start, unscrew this bolt in the driver side knee panel. Afterwards, light pressure will pop the panel off.
Next, pop off this clip:
Next, unscrew this bolt. You will need to move the seat all the way back.
Next is the toughest part but also the payoff. You will need skinny arms so sorry to those who do curls at the gym. I was able to squeeze my arm up from the corner and quickly find the harness. The clip that secures the bracket is oriented on the side closest to the gear selector and needs to be compressed inward to release. It was relatively easy to find and compress.
From there, the wire harness is long enough to pull out as you remove your arm, plug the adapter in, then reverse the steps.
I turned the car on and it was immediately working and good to go! I hope this brief guide helps someone!
