I have followed this forum since I was starting to get excited about seeing a Ford Escape platform with a pickup bed, at the time of starting to follow these forums, I owned a 2006 Mercury Mariner V6 (now going to my daughter)and a 2013 Ford C-Max Plug-In hybrid (being sold to my Aunt). I ordered a 2023 back in Sept of 2022, waited for the emails to never come. In the time of following all the awesome threads and comments, my son has gotten a lot bigger in height and can no longer comfortably fit in the back of my C-Max (he is close to 6'3" at 14 and pushing 300lbs) so I bought a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan. And between the time of order and time of buying my van (March 4th, 2023), my Father-In-Law passed away due to complications of surgery (the veins in his legs weren't "wired correctly"), so my wife got a small inheritance from him and bought herself a bright green Jeep Wrangler 4-door, she has always wanted a Jeep and we have been in a few when doing adventures in other countries while on vacation, so while I am not going to leave the group because I love seeing all the different ways that you all personalize/modify your Mavs, keep up the good work and keep the pictures coming.

P.S. Never hesitate to PM me about anything as far as looking at the Ford factory shop manuals or wiring diagrams.

Speaking of pictures, these are our new rides!

HAPPY MAVING!!!

I'm curious to know if you cross-shopped the Bronco? Or is the Bronco still unobtanium?

Allen, sorry to hear about your father in law. Regarding your order last September. You should have received email confirmation and then a few email updates like apologizes for delays. Once things proceed then you should get a scheduling and tracking series of emails along with a VIN. Followed by more emails with tracking showing status and ultimately a expected delivery date. Back to the beginning, when you gave a deposit the dealer who you ordered from should have given you a Sales Code, an Order Code, a Priority Code along with the list of options and price. BTW, I also ordered in September 22 and just received my Maverick at the end of April 23. The dealer was very helpful as to advise on constrained items and helped me avoid those because they would delay delivery.
Best of luck
